the prisoners dilemma test your moral intuition, would you tell on your crime partner or keep your mouth shut?
“Our bodies have five senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing. But not to be overlooked are the senses of our souls: intuition, peace, foresight, trust, empathy. The differences between people lie in their use of these senses; most people don't know anything about the inner senses while a few people rely on them just as they rely on their physical senses, and in fact probably even more.”
― C. JoyBell C.
intuition can be in the form of a talent. there are those people who are like "wow, they were born with it." in other words they have a certain intuition for that talent.

"A women knows by intuition what is best for her" States Marilyn Monroe.

But because of society, We are conditioned to take care of

others, which, in turn, leaves our own needs low on our list of

priorities. We women know all about that nagging feeling

that tells us that something isn’t right, or that we’re just not

where we want to be, or that we’re not happy with the status

quo. That is our intuition or instinct that is telling us that

something,or a multitude of somethings, just isn’t working for

us.

"A women knows by intuition what is best for her"

This is an article written by Marilyn Monroe stating her opinion on intuition from women's point of view.
INTUITIVE: Using or based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning.
Intuitive type
  • prefers broad brush, big picture
  • is mostly future oriented
  • interested in the new and unusual
  • likes ideas and concepts
  • does not like routine or practicalities
  • prefers the theoretical to the practical
Intuitive types prefer seing posibilities, shapes and sizes.

"Isn't truth inherent in man?" I interjected. "You once told me that progress is made only by intuition, and not by the accumulation of knowledge."
"It's not as simple as that," replied Einstein. "Knowledge is necessary, too. An intuitive child couldn't accomplish anything without some knowledge. There will come a point in everyone's life, however where only intuition can make the leap ahead, without ever knowing precisely how. One can never know why but one must accept intuition as a fact."

the Article is an interview wit Albert Einstein and his take on intuition. the passage above is just a small portion but something i agree with deeply.  i think intuition - in the form he is describing- take more than "a feeling in the gut", it also take knowledge, confidence, and common sense.

One type of intuition is moral intuition or ethics intuition. An easy way to explain it is have you found yourself feeling guilty when someone is criticizing a friend of yours or when you think "that's wrong"or "that doesn't feel right'', that is moral intuition. moral intuition is usually based on your family, religious or social values that person holds. The video describes two different scenarios; one where a train is heading for five people to run them over, the only way to save then is by a pretty large person stopping the train which  would also cause their death. to save the five people you have to pull a lever that would send the large person in front of the train to stop it as well as die. would you pull the lever? the other scenario would be again five people are about to get hit my a train and die, again the only way to save them would be by the large person being in front of the train to stop it but again he would die, the difference in this scenario is that this time there is no lever instead you have to physically push the heavy man in front of the train, so would you push the man in front of the train? statistics showed that more people were willing to pull the lever but no push the man, both have the same out come so why the big difference? why is it okay to pull a lever and its not okay to push the heavy man? moral ethics.

Speaks for itself.
